“Young Entrepreneurs Competitions” for 2024
The competition will consist of 2 categories “Award for a Young Achiever in a Farming Enterprise” and “Award for a Young Achiever in a Farm Diversification Business” Open to those aged of 35yrs or under living in the County of Staffordshire or within 10miles of the County boundary.
Nominations can be self-nomination or on behalf of others
Award for a Young Achiever in a Farming Enterprise - awarded for outstanding skills, dedication, and achievement in agriculture.
- Winner receives £1000 with additional awards available to the runners-up
- Entry via simple online form
- Judges will visit the Finalists at their farms
- Five finalists & partners invited as guests of the Society to the County Dinner, where the awards & prizes will be presented.
- Winner receives £2000
- Entry via an online form – brief description of the business & 5 key points about the business
- Finalists will be asked to provide further documentation about the business
- Interview by a panel of judges who may also visit the Finalist’s business
- Five finalists & partners invited as guests of the Society to the County Dinner, where the awards & prizes will be presented.
Previous finalists and entries will be accepted but not previous winners
