A full Main Ring programme takes place over both days, including the JCB Dancing Diggers, the Mounted Games Association, Open Show Jumping Championship (Sponsored by Instant Space Construct), the Parade of Hounds, the Grand Parade of Livestock (Sponsored by Bagshaws) and the Young Farmers Floats (Sponsored by BD Fuels Ltd). In the County Pursuits Area we have arena displays of falconry, Merion Owen - One Man and His Sheep Dogs, the West Lancs Dog Display Team and the Ferret Roadshow as well as horseshoeing competitions and the Girl Guides' climbing wall. In addition the giant tortoises and the donkey rides are always popular with the little ones.
